What’s your favorite ice cream flavor? I like anything with with pecans or walnuts; pecan praline and butter pecan are two of my favorites but my ultimate favorite is RUM RAISIN! If you haven’t tried rum raisin ice cream its delicious and will make you want to go to the Caribbean islands. The rum and raisin mix is an island in your mouth! LOL (I just made that up).
Since my bestie, Fenicia believes that she is an ice cream connoisseur we could not let the MUSEUM Of ICE CREAM come to San Francisco without us seeing it! Fenicia eats ice cream about 3x a week and she likes exotic flavors, but her must have flavor is strawberry!
When we arrived at the museum the wait in line was about 2min, our time slot was 4:00pm, and we were greeted with some Dove chocolates! I loved the energy of the employees, I’m telling you it was really like Disneyland. Each part of the museum has a greeter that tells you little bit about ice cream, we created a team name “The Chocolate Swirl Sprinkles”! We got a chance to be a kid again, we played ring toss on whip cream bottles, sat on a unicorn and tasted unicorn ice cream, went through Gummie Land, jumped in a sprinkles pool, ate cotton candy, tried Japanese ice cream, and explored the history about ice cream all in one place.
Throughout the entire museum you get samples- old school pop rocks candy, mini unciorn ice cream, mochi (Japanese ice cream), and cotton candy. My bestie and I fell in love with a new flavor Peach Bellini ice cream. I really need to find out where they sell it….DELICIOUS!
If you have not been to the museum of ice cream yet they just announced an extension until February in San Fran! Make sure you go online to get your tickets, they are $38 each. Some recommendations are, take Bart (get off on Powell Street and walk a block), wear something comfy and socks so you can jump into the sprinkle pool, eat before but save your room for dessert at the museum (the samples of sweets are delicious), they only accept cards no cash, charge your phone for pictures, buy one souvenir from the gift shop and send a cute ice cream postcard to ask your friend on a ice cream date!
Since my cousin is in town from the ATL I decided to have a small gathering at Lake Merritt in Oakland with my friends. When sitting lakeside I always wear something lite and this Who What Wear Collection Target’s Ruffle Wrap Dress fits me perfectly.
The light blue and white stripes wraps around you creating a tide knot in the front of the dress. The fit runs a little big, I got a 3X in the dress but could have sized down to a 2X. The best part of this dress is the sleeves and the high low effect! I don’t like the small snap button near the chest area because it keeps unsnapping, I just put a safety pin to hold it in place. I paired my outfit with a purse and shades from the flea market. Then I grabbed my Ross flowers and bucket filled with my good food and wine.

This past weekend was a Bridal Shower at Havana Restaurant in Walnut Creek,Ca. It’s an honor to be apart of my sorority sisters special day as one of her bridesmaids.
The taste of Havana consided of a set menu of Fried Platains, Black Bean Soup, Paella and a variety of Latin desserts. Everything was delicious! I enjoyed the Cuban music, the guests, gifts, games and sweets. I hosted the game portion, my favorite game was “How Well Does The Bride and Groom Know Each”. We asked the groom 10 questions that he has to answer about the bride, the bride then answers the questions with answers that the groom might say. It sounds confusing but the Bride-to-Be got 9 right and she got to hear his recorded voice on the computer with his answers. Sweeet!
I wore a hunter green peplum dress with thin straps that forms a sexy caged look from Charlotte Russe (similar). It was comfy and paired with my Lane Bryant black shrug and heels. I love one pieces!
Enjoy your week!
Last weekend I was so excited to sign up for gwynnie bee! “Gwynnie Bee is an online women’s clothing subscription service for sizes 10-32”. Basically you fill your closet online then when you get your items try it, wear it or love it! And I fell in love with this fall look.
This week I received this sexy chic floral print dress by Junarose. This dress is true to size, I decided to get a 22 and it fit just right. I had my item for about a week, and today I shipped it back. I can’t wait to see my next package.

Yesterday was Valentine’s day, but for me it was Galentine’s Day. That’s where 5 of my singles girlfriends all went to dinner together. It was really fun! We treated it like a date, we dressed up, each person brought something to give. I received chocolates, a rose, and a balloon. We ate at a delicious restaurant called Chow’s in San Francisco and enjoyed dinner, wine and dessert together. I wore a dress that was in my closet already from Ross Dress For Less , my jacket and pink sparkle purse are both from Ashley Stewart and my shoes are Playless (old). Next
year if you’re single just have a small “Galentine’s Day” with your girlfriends.
Hope you had a lovely day!
Whether you are an L or 4XL these Fancydime shirts are for you! I am so excited about my new Fancydime V-neck Tees! For about two years I wanted to create t-shirts for all women especially for the curvy and plus size woman. Also for the woman who supports Plus Size Fashion! Finally after a lot of hard work three of my friends helped me make my vision come true. When people believe in you and your vision it makes me feel more confident. I have some of the best friends in the world, they continue to support me every day as they understand that I want to show curvy and plus size women that they are bomb.com!
My tees are all black with either pink or purple writing that says “Plus Size Fashion…West Coast Woman”. I had to represent for the West Coast LOL. Pink and purple are my favorite colors so I decided to start with them. The shirts come in sizes L-4X and retail at $25. My shirts are designed for all women who support the curvy gal. You don’t have to actually be a plus size woman to wear the shirt, but you can be someone who supports our fashion. I absolutely love my shirts! Usually I wear a size 3X, but in this shirt I sized down to a 2X and was comfy. Feel free to ask me any questions. Click here to order your shirts Fancydime Tees.

Fancydime and her Friends
Today I woke up feeling fabulous! This morning I started off by visiting St.John Missionary Baptist Church with my sorority sisters. This month of November is dedicated to Prematurity Awareness and we shared information about March of Dimes. It was a joyous occasion and the Lord filled me with more greatfulness from his word.
Afterwards I decided to go to 2nd annual Urban Beauty Network. This event was all about beauty, hair and wellness compose in one. The event had speakers, panelists, bloggers and vendors. I decided to change my cardigan to my Lane Bryant Sweater (bought last year). My skirt is from Charolette Russe, they are having a 30% off your purchase with free shipping right now.
My friend and I
Hope you enjoyed your Sunday.
I love this time of the year especially the pumpkins! I have never been to a Pumpkin Patch before, so I decided to go to one this year. I convinced my friend that we weren’t to old to go, being that we don’t have any kiddos. Picking pumpkins was so much fun, but I couldn’t get through that scary haunted house (now I am to old for that) lol.
Since I work with elementary school students I threw on a 50 cent witch hat that I bought the day before with my Eloquii Skirt and thrifted shirt.
Enjoy your Halloween day but most importantly the fall season.
I believe that since you only live once, live life to the fullest. That’s what I do! Yesterday 3 friends and I went ceramic making in El Cerrito, CA. It was one of my friends birthday and she has always wanted to go clay making like in the movie Ghost, to bad it was all ladies (LoL). The place we went to is called Play with Clay.
This was my first time doing an ceramic class and who knew it would be a 3 step process to make my creation. First you make whatever you want out of clay and decorate it. Then 3 weeks later you come back to glaze it and you come back a week later to pick it up. It’s a long process, but I know it’s worth it. Our class was 3 hours long, which is enough time to make 2 to 3 clay creations. I decided to make 2, an ice cream bowl and a cup.
Here are 5 things you should know before jumping right into a clay making class.
1. Wear something that is comfortable and you don’t care if it gets dirty.
2. Go at a time where your nails aren’t done. The clay gets all in your nails and is really messy.
3. Go with a group of friends! Our instructor said 4 is the perfect number because she can easily help everyone.
4. Get some ideas of what you want to make before hand. I knew I wanted to make a ice cream bowl.
5. Make sure you wear a head scarf, hat, or tie your hair up. The clay gets messy.
Have a great day! I had so much fun, let me know if you ever go. Here’s some pictures from yesterday.

When I use to wear a skirt below my knee it meant you were going to church, but nowadays it’s a trendier chic look. This is what we call a Midi Skirt. Midi Skirts are below the knee, about the knee, or a pencil like skirt. Usually it fits tight and form fitting, but can be a flare skirt too. I have fallen in love with midi skirts especially the form fitting and flare looks.
This past Labor Day weekend, I had a BBQ at Lake Merritt in Oakland with some of my friends. It was such great weather and I had to bring out my cute AVA&VIV skirt, which I call my “color binding midi skirt”. The skirt is a midrise patterned print. This skirt comes in sizes 14W-26W. I’m wearing a size 20W, which is a good fit. It’s very comfortable and has a zipper in the back of it. It could be worn to work, a day of shopping, a date, or just an everyday look. I paired it was a white tee and my Lane Bryant denim jacket (this item is completely sold out), threw on some accessories from one of the San Fran’s street vendors and my flats from Nordstrom Rack.
I truly was BBQ ready and felt so comfortable. Hope you loved my “color binding midi skirt” outfit as much as I did. Remember that Plus Size and Curvaceous women are TOP of the line, nothing less, ALWAYS 2SNAPS to that!
