This past weekend was a Bridal Shower at Havana Restaurant in Walnut Creek,Ca. It’s an honor to be apart of my sorority sisters special day as one of her bridesmaids.
The taste of Havana consided of a set menu of Fried Platains, Black Bean Soup, Paella and a variety of Latin desserts. Everything was delicious! I enjoyed the Cuban music, the guests, gifts, games and sweets. I hosted the game portion, my favorite game was “How Well Does The Bride and Groom Know Each”. We asked the groom 10 questions that he has to answer about the bride, the bride then answers the questions with answers that the groom might say. It sounds confusing but the Bride-to-Be got 9 right and she got to hear his recorded voice on the computer with his answers. Sweeet!
I wore a hunter green peplum dress with thin straps that forms a sexy caged look from Charlotte Russe (similar). It was comfy and paired with my Lane Bryant black shrug and heels. I love one pieces!
Enjoy your week!
Today I woke up feeling fabulous! This morning I started off by visiting St.John Missionary Baptist Church with my sorority sisters. This month of November is dedicated to Prematurity Awareness and we shared information about March of Dimes. It was a joyous occasion and the Lord filled me with more greatfulness from his word.
Afterwards I decided to go to 2nd annual Urban Beauty Network. This event was all about beauty, hair and wellness compose in one. The event had speakers, panelists, bloggers and vendors. I decided to change my cardigan to my Lane Bryant Sweater (bought last year). My skirt is from Charolette Russe, they are having a 30% off your purchase with free shipping right now.

Hope you enjoyed your Sunday.
Turning a year older means blessings, parties to plan, happiness and joy, but most importantly a Birthday Outfit! Last year I wore https://fancydime.com/2014/03/ which I loved the fit, but this year I needed to blow my 32 Birthday Candles out in a fun and sexy outfit.
I got my birthday outfit inspiration from my friend and fashion blogger GarnerStyle. When I saw her red tutu it screamed me all over it! LOL. Once I got the cute and fun tutu, I shopped in my own closet to find pieces to put together. It’s great to shop in your closet before buying new clothes or accessories because you can find hidden treasures sometimes or clothes that you haven’t worn in a while. I lucked out and found my sexy lace strapless peplum top from Torrid; my black clutch, and my black & white belt from Lane Bryant . I tucked in my peplum top for the look; the clutch was worn last year for my birthday (it goes with everything); I tried on my black and white belt and it worked for this look. The tutu is a size 18 from eShakti. Three things I love about this tutu is the mid calf length, the side zipper that holds you in, but banded waist with an elastic smocked center back waist, and a plus is the side pockets. My moto jacket is from a local thrift store, click here for a similar look .
31 years old was great, but I know 32 will be filled with more success, happiness, love, wisdom, and fun! I blew out all of my 32 Birthday Candles on my carrot cake (my fav), and my new chapter has begun.

Happy Spring! Today is the first day of Spring and I’m so excited, but I just hope it doesn’t start to rain later. I woke up feeling awesome and in the mood to do some Spring Cleaning, but instead I took some pictures to brighten my day. My mom is coming this evening to celebrate my birthday tomorrow. I can’t wait to see her. Have a beautiful day.

This spring I told myself that I was going to do 3 things; show some more skin, be confident in who I am and love myself more and more every day. Since I turned 31 years old two weeks ago I continued to celebrate my birthday last weekend by traveling with my girls on a mini vacation to Vegas! Las Vegas was so much fun and I enjoyed my 4 days in “sin city” LOL.
When traveling on a mini vacation these are the top 5 items I always bring to wear:
1. Under Garments: I always make sure that I wear some type of spanx or shaper under my outfits. I brought 3 different shapers on this mini vacation that I found all at Walmart (full body shaper, shorts shaper, and panty shaper). They are all true to size, I got a 3x in all of them and they are made by Maidenform. Also a strapless bra is necessary, and you already know to invest in good bra.
2. Black Dress: You never can go wrong with a cute black dress. I decided to bring this all black peplum dress with lace at the top that I bought at ROSS. It really fits me well. Also I wore a lace top (Macy’s), leporad bra (Lane Bryant), black skirt (Forever21) size large, Purse (ROSS).
3. Shorts: I love having a good pair of comfortable shorts to show off my thick thighs. I brought my Torrid shorts that I bought last summer. I paired it with this beige Lane Bryant shirt and Payless heels.
4. Day Dress: I brought a green maxi dress that I got from a small boutique in Oakland and a cute black day dress that I just got from Lane Bryant.
5. Swimwear: For this mini vacation I decided to bring two options for swim wear. I mixed and matched my bottom and bikini top. My first look is a mint green bikini top that I got at Forever21 in the plus size section. I am wearing a 3x in it.
The second look is a purple top from Walmart. Originally this purple top had straps, but I made it strapless (it looked better). Side note: I wore strapless Lane Bryant bras with my swimsuits.
The hot pink bottoms are from Lane Bryant (I’m wearing a size 22). They are very comfortable and hold everything in. I love them!
I hope you enjoyed my mini vacation outfits. Remember that curvaceous and plus size women are dime pieces who are top of the line and nothing less, always, 2 SNAPS TO THAT!
Since I direct an After School Program my workflow attire could be casual, dressed up or business professional. I try to plan my outfits out the day before but that never works, so most of the time all my outfits are chosen in the morning. Most of the time I’m rushing, but the outfit choice still look decent.
The pictures that I’m showing you are last weeks workflow attire? How do you choose your workflow outfit? I hope you enjoy!

I was inspired by one of the Style Bloggers that I follow to recreate her stylish Black and White Striped outfit. I really love that fact that “InmyJoi” shows off her curves with her tight skirt and mixed print striped shirt. When I saw this stylish outfit, I had to recreate it! I found my entire outfit on Black Friday by accident; I was shopping with my friends. When I walked in Torrid the skirt was calling my name, but I was mad that I couldn’t find a top right away. Since I was determined, I found a similar top to “InmyJoi” from Lane Bryant. To get the full look I decided to get a size smaller in the top, so it could fit tighter, but the skirt is true to size.

I went to Lane Bryant a couple of weeks ago and found this cute camouflage shirt that I fell in love with, but didn’t know what to wear with it. I have never really worn the military look, but since it is back in style I decided to see how it looks on me. Other than the shirt being comfortable, the hint of fuchsia at the sleeves and brown studded jewels on the collar really make it girlie, which I love! I decided to match this camouflage shirt with my skinny red jeans and a skinny red belt (everything doesn’t have to match as long as it looks great together). This outfit is a two in one, I first put on my combat boots like I was about to step in a step show and then put on my wedges to step out to a party. If you are looking for a comfortable outfit that is trendy and girlie this is it! Let me know how you like the look.
