This past weekend was a Bridal Shower at Havana Restaurant in Walnut Creek,Ca. It’s an honor to be apart of my sorority sisters special day as one of her bridesmaids.
The taste of Havana consided of a set menu of Fried Platains, Black Bean Soup, Paella and a variety of Latin desserts. Everything was delicious! I enjoyed the Cuban music, the guests, gifts, games and sweets. I hosted the game portion, my favorite game was “How Well Does The Bride and Groom Know Each”. We asked the groom 10 questions that he has to answer about the bride, the bride then answers the questions with answers that the groom might say. It sounds confusing but the Bride-to-Be got 9 right and she got to hear his recorded voice on the computer with his answers. Sweeet!
I wore a hunter green peplum dress with thin straps that forms a sexy caged look from Charlotte Russe (similar). It was comfy and paired with my Lane Bryant black shrug and heels. I love one pieces!
Enjoy your week!
Being from Cali I never really get to experience different seasons, but this past Thanksgiving I fell in Love with Winter! This was my first Thanksgiving spent with my Haitian fam in ATL, a well spent one must I add.
In addition to eating all the delicous Haitian food and the Rhum I went a lot of places with my cousins. After brunch one day I told my cousin to stop in this beautiful field with fall leaves. Its nothing like seeing brown leaves change to red and orange. Makes me wanna move to the south!

Last weekend I was so excited to sign up for gwynnie bee! “Gwynnie Bee is an online women’s clothing subscription service for sizes 10-32”. Basically you fill your closet online then when you get your items try it, wear it or love it! And I fell in love with this fall look.
This week I received this sexy chic floral print dress by Junarose. This dress is true to size, I decided to get a 22 and it fit just right. I had my item for about a week, and today I shipped it back. I can’t wait to see my next package.

Yesterday was Valentine’s day, but for me it was Galentine’s Day. That’s where 5 of my singles girlfriends all went to dinner together. It was really fun! We treated it like a date, we dressed up, each person brought something to give. I received chocolates, a rose, and a balloon. We ate at a delicious restaurant called Chow’s in San Francisco and enjoyed dinner, wine and dessert together. I wore a dress that was in my closet already from Ross Dress For Less , my jacket and pink sparkle purse are both from Ashley Stewart and my shoes are Playless (old). Next
year if you’re single just have a small “Galentine’s Day” with your girlfriends.
Hope you had a lovely day!
Whether you are an L or 4XL these Fancydime shirts are for you! I am so excited about my new Fancydime V-neck Tees! For about two years I wanted to create t-shirts for all women especially for the curvy and plus size woman. Also for the woman who supports Plus Size Fashion! Finally after a lot of hard work three of my friends helped me make my vision come true. When people believe in you and your vision it makes me feel more confident. I have some of the best friends in the world, they continue to support me every day as they understand that I want to show curvy and plus size women that they are bomb.com!
My tees are all black with either pink or purple writing that says “Plus Size Fashion…West Coast Woman”. I had to represent for the West Coast LOL. Pink and purple are my favorite colors so I decided to start with them. The shirts come in sizes L-4X and retail at $25. My shirts are designed for all women who support the curvy gal. You don’t have to actually be a plus size woman to wear the shirt, but you can be someone who supports our fashion. I absolutely love my shirts! Usually I wear a size 3X, but in this shirt I sized down to a 2X and was comfy. Feel free to ask me any questions. Click here to order your shirts Fancydime Tees.
I’m a confident size 22 plus size woman who supports Plus Size Fashion and a West Coast Woman! No matter the size, you can have your own style and wear these tees. A couple of my friends of all shapes and sizes got together to take a few pictures in the tees. My friends who took pictures with me range from a size 12 to 28 and work in different fields of life. Today is “Winddown Wednesday” for me! I’m going to work today in San Jose and then heading to San Fran to see Janet Jackson tonight. It’s my friend LaToya’s birthday and I’m so excited to see Janet, Ms. Jackson if you nasty (LOL). I really don’t know what to wear, but wanted to share this outfit post from last weekend.
Last weekend I was super busy working on the webseries Garnerstyle & Co. We gave a makeover to a lucky winner named CiCi. I wore this chic black and white plaid and purple skirt. At first I was like does it match? Then I thought about it, I love throwing colors together or mix and matching outfits. Its my style! Even if you think something isn’t going to look right, I suggest you try it on to see the full look. The plaid shirt is a size 3X from Cato, it’s a long high/low shirt but I decided to tie it up. The skirt (from summer) is from Fashion to Figure. Hope you liked my OOTD and have a great Wednesday.

I believe that since you only live once, live life to the fullest. That’s what I do! Yesterday 3 friends and I went ceramic making in El Cerrito, CA. It was one of my friends birthday and she has always wanted to go clay making like in the movie Ghost, to bad it was all ladies (LoL). The place we went to is called Play with Clay.
This was my first time doing an ceramic class and who knew it would be a 3 step process to make my creation. First you make whatever you want out of clay and decorate it. Then 3 weeks later you come back to glaze it and you come back a week later to pick it up. It’s a long process, but I know it’s worth it. Our class was 3 hours long, which is enough time to make 2 to 3 clay creations. I decided to make 2, an ice cream bowl and a cup.
Here are 5 things you should know before jumping right into a clay making class.
1. Wear something that is comfortable and you don’t care if it gets dirty.
2. Go at a time where your nails aren’t done. The clay gets all in your nails and is really messy.
3. Go with a group of friends! Our instructor said 4 is the perfect number because she can easily help everyone.
4. Get some ideas of what you want to make before hand. I knew I wanted to make a ice cream bowl.
5. Make sure you wear a head scarf, hat, or tie your hair up. The clay gets messy.
Have a great day! I had so much fun, let me know if you ever go. Here’s some pictures from yesterday.

Just another Fancydime Friday! This week has been very long so it’s time for me to take myself to Happy Hour. I woke up this morning and put on this sexy but work friendly black dress to run errands in and meet up with my friends later to get drinks. This dress is from Ideel (I believe it’s sold out, but they have many other options). It is very comfortable, the material is mesh like. The dress is sheer but has a slip under it. I am wearing a size 3X and spanx panties with this, just to hold everything in. I think every gal needs a pair no matter what size. I simply paired this all black dress with my heels from ROSS (similar from DSW) and some San Fran street jewelry. It’s always great to get a bargin and support street vendors. Everyone needs a black dress in their closet especially one you can wear to work all the way to happy hour.
I hope you have a beautiful weekend. Remember that Curvaceous and Plus Size Women are TOP of the line and nothing less, Always, 2SNAPS to that!

Who knew that I could fit clothes in H&M! A long time ago I remember that one of my friends worked at H&M and she told me that have XL and XXL, and I bought a pair of joggers then. But I haven’t returned back until last week when I went with my two guy friends. Originally I was going shopping to help them find an outfit for the Jill Scott concert and ended up eyeing a cute leopard print and a military green maxi dress that had my name all over it. I literally walked over and felt the stretch material and knew it would fit me. The dresses only come in sizes S-L, but I didn’t care. Quick Sidenote: Learn how to eye material and clothing. Usually stretch material will fit to your size. If it’s something that I like I always look at it and feel the material to see if it fits. In this case I grabbed a L, went into the try on room and was like its to BIG! My thoughts inside my head was like get it girl, I lost weight! But I knew that it was the material which is fine with me because I love myself. I decided to try on a medium and loved it. I wore my H&M Dress paired it with my Ross Dress For Less black purse and cute Nordstrom Rack sandals.
Next time you go inside H&M don’t just walk over to the accessories part of the store, go see what clothes you can wear. Let me know if you find any other pieces that work for the curvy plus size women.
